Sunday School For Children

At Trinity Baptist Church of Lakeland, our Sunday school classes are designed to help children build a strong foundation in their faith from the very beginning. We offer age-specific classes for:

Babies and Toddlers
Kindergarten through 2nd Grade
3rd through 5th Grade

Our mission is to serve as a catalyst for children to grow in their relationship with God, deepen their understanding of His Word, and develop a passion for the gospel. Through engaging worship, Bible lessons, games, and hands-on activities, we aim to teach God’s truth in ways that connect with each stage of a child’s development. Every age group follows a curriculum tailored to help them hear and understand the message of Christ in a meaningful and age-appropriate way.

All Kids Ministry volunteers and staff are background-checked and trained to provide a safe, welcoming environment where children can thrive. We also believe every child deserves to learn about Jesus in a safe environment where they feel loved and included.

Sunday School For Youth

Youth Ministry is made up of students in 6th through 12th grade and is led by Mr. B. This group offers a purposeful and welcoming space where young people can explore their faith, build lasting friendships, and ask honest questions about life and truth. Each week, students gather in a small group setting centered on God’s Word, providing a strong biblical foundation for those navigating the challenges and complexities of middle school and high school. Discussions are real, relevant, and rooted in Scripture, helping teens see how God’s truth applies to the decisions and pressures they face every day.

Our Youth Ministries also offer opportunities to connect through retreats, midweek gatherings, special events, and team-based service. Everything we do is designed to help students pursue God wholeheartedly and learn how to love and serve others well.

Trinity Baptist Church Adult Sunday School Class

Sunday School For Adults

Our Sunday School classes at Trinity Baptist Church of Lakeland offer meaningful opportunities for adults in every stage of life to grow in their faith and deepen their understanding of God’s Word. One of our classes is catered to our Senior Saints, offering a welcoming space to connect with others in a similar season of life. As this group gathers each week, they grow in faith, encourage one another, and strive to reflect Christ more each day.

We also offer two additional adult classes that bring together individuals from a variety of ages and backgrounds. One is taught by Dale Riddle and the other by Pastor Kevin Long. These classes focus on Bible lessons and explore how the truths of Scripture apply to everyday life. Each class provides a comfortable setting where you’re welcome to take part in discussion, ask questions, or share your thoughts and experiences if you feel led.

No matter where you are in life, there is a place for you. Our Sunday School ministry is built on the truth that God’s Word speaks to every walk of life—and through these classes, we grow in faith, in community, and in our walk with Christ, together.
