Trinity Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist church in Lakeland, FL, led by Pastor Kevin Long. We are a Christ-centered community with a heart to worship, grow in faith, and go share God’s love. You’re invited to join us as we follow Jesus and serve our community together.
Our Ministries
Nursery Ministry
Our nursery provides a safe, loving space for infants ages 6 weeks through pre-K. Conveniently located next to the sanctuary, children are cared for by background-checked volunteers while parents enjoy the service. A cozy Mother-Baby Room is also available for those who prefer to keep their child close during worship.
Kids Ministry
From preschool through 5th grade, kids experience the love of God through fun worship, engaging Bible lessons, and hands-on activities. We offer Children’s Church during Sunday worship and exciting midweek classes on Wednesday evenings. Our goal is to help every child grow in faith, make wise choices, and build strong friendships.
Youth Ministry
Our youth group is a place where students in grades 6–12 can belong, build lasting friendships, and grow in their relationship with Jesus. Through Bible studies, games, service projects, and real conversations, teens are encouraged to ask big questions and live out their faith in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Join Us Beyond Sunday!
Beyond Sunday mornings, our Kids Ministry offers various programs throughout the week, including Wednesday evening activities that combine Bible study with fun and fellowship. These programs are designed to reinforce biblical teachings and help children apply them in their daily lives.​

We Love Our Community
At Trinity Baptist Church, we believe in showing God’s love through action. We partner with local outreaches like A Women’s Choice, which supports women facing unplanned pregnancies with care and resources. We also host TLC right here at the church, which is a clothing closet where foster families can come to find clothes and essentials for the children placed in their care. Through One More Child, we help meet the needs of vulnerable children and families both locally and around the world.
We also love creating fun, family-friendly events for our community. Each summer we host Vacation Bible School, and every October we welcome families to our Fall Festival. There’s always something happening at Trinity, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
Help Grow The Gospel Through Service
There are many ways to get involved and use your gifts to serve. Whether it’s helping in our Kids Ministry, playing an instrument on the worship team, assisting with audio/visual tech, or volunteering at one of our outreach events. No matter your skills or schedule, there’s a place for you!
Important: For the safety of our children and families, anyone serving in roles that involve working with minors will be required to complete a background check.
